About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and innovative English Teacher to join our Secondary School team for a 1-year maternity leave contract, starting 2nd March, 2026. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to high-quality teaching, strong relationships with students, and contributing to a vibrant and supportive school community.

About you

To be considered, you must:

• Be a committed, practising Christian, actively involved in a local church
• Support the mission and values of Greenacre Christian College
• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for English
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Have an enthusiastic and flexible attitude, open to learn, and capable of working efficiently within a collaborative team environment
• Have effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
• Hold relevant teaching qualifications, NESA accreditation, valid Working with Children Check and clearance to teach in NSW
• Have a recent experience in teaching English (preferred)
