The Role
This isn’t just about posting clips or chasing views. As our Head of Content, you’ll be the strategic and creative brain behind everything that hits our channels—from viral short‑form content to powerful long‑form storytelling.
You’ll lead a small but high‑performing team of creators, turning raw moments into compelling narratives that grow audiences and build connection. You’ll work closely with Aaron Sansoni and the rest of the Marketing team to bring ideas to life—directing shoots, developing campaigns, and crafting content that makes people feel something. What You’ll Do
- Own the creative vision and execution of our content strategy across short‑form and long‑form platforms.
- Travel with Aaron to direct and capture content.
- Lead content ideation and direction for both Aaron Sansoni and the Empire Movement brand.
- Manage and mentor a team, push for creativity, speed, and impact.
- Oversee filming, editing, and storytelling that captures authenticity and emotion.
- Analyse performance data to refine content direction and ride the wave of social trends.
- Work together with the Head of Marketing to align content with campaigns, launches, and growth goals.
- Experiment with new ideas, formats, and hooks, constantly testing what resonates.
- Ensure our brand voice, tone, and visual style are consistent across every piece of content.
- Capture and direct content at key events that fuel brand storytelling and connection.
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years in content strategy, production, or digital storytelling, and leading a team.
- A proven record of creating short‑form content that performs on Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
- Strong creative instincts. You know when something feels right and when it doesn’t.
- Hands‑on experience with directing, shooting, and editing content.
- Confident leading a team while staying connected to the creative process.
- Deep understanding of what makes audiences stop scrolling. Strong hooks, emotion, and storytelling.
- Organised, passionate, and thrives in fast‑moving environments.
