Job Summary

The Inside Channel Manager I is responsible for working with CenturyLink Indirect Business partners to generate sales opportunity, grow new & upsell revenue to increase overall total sales to business clients.

  • Win business & drive revenue by managing partner sales opportunities.
  • Participate in the design solution by interviewing to discover need & identify new cross/upsell opportunities
  • Provide accurate and detailed forecast funnel of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed quota requirements
  • Perform internal quoting system, RFP support up to order entry.
  • Coordinate any internal groups (sales engineering, product, Offer Management etc.) during the sales process required to close WON.
  • Work with Partners to ensure sales readiness for company products & processes.
  • Manage & serve as the escalation path for partners to ensure excellent customer experience
  • Expedite sales process by facilitating requests with appropriate internal groups, coordinating completion, and ensuring timely responses
  • Coordinate, train & manage all resources needed to WIN.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and 2+ years’ experience.
  • 2 years in a telesales environment including business to business.
  • Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, communication, customer service, account relationship, negotiating and team work skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with Outlook, Web Meeting, Q Central, and Salesforce.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
