Executive Assistant - Human Resources


Job Location: United States : New York : New York  

 

Role Value Proposition: 

Entry-level Executive Assistant position supporting two Senior Vice Presidents in the Human Resources organization. The successful candidate needs to be comfortable embracing challenges, excited about gaining exposure to a wide range of HR matters and they should be interested in pursuing a career in Human Resources.

 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Provide administrative support to SVP HR Global Tech & Operations and SVP HR US Business & Investments.
  • Manage Microsoft Outlook calendar, inbox, and address books; respond to incoming telephone calls, routing inquiries as appropriate.
  • Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings/events/conference calls/Web-ex presentations; anticipate and provide relevant materials/correspondence to meeting participants as needed.
  • Arrange and coordinate travel arrangements (international & domestic).
  • Process expense reports and vendor invoices for reimbursement/payments.
  • Interface with senior leaders, executive assistants of senior leaders, at all levels of the organization, both within and outside the company. 
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR related items; prepare and/or coordinate memoranda, presentations, reports and spreadsheets. Create templates, format and edit text, slides and other materials as needed.

 

Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:

Required:

  • Experience working in a professional, client-centric environment.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and proactive mindset.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proven success working independently.

 

Preferred:

  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Self-starter with a strong interest in pursuing HR career.
  • Professional presence, able to build and sustain strong working partnerships through good communications skills and engagement in broader team goals.
  • Prior experience working in an HR environment.
