Job Summary

 

The Amazon Customer Management Analyst will be responsible for understanding Amazon’s website requirements and the Amazon Vendor Central tool and ensuring that Colgate Palmolive has superior product presence. This person will be responsible for managing the Colgate Palmolive catalog on Amazon including uploading product content to Amazon Vendor Central, conducting weekly or more frequent audits and making corrections as needed in a timely fashion.  In addition, this person will monitor 3rd Party sellers on Amazon to identify any incorrect usage of Colgate branded content and take action to correct.   This person will track Colgate ASINs on Amazon to more accurately predict when they may be at risk of discontinuation by Amazon. This person will work closely with the other members of the Amazon Customer Development Team, plus the eMarketing team. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage Amazon catalog with Customer Development Team: On a regular basis, review & correct Amazon Colgate product catalog to ensure all elements are correct & nothing has been replaced or eliminated
  2. Conduct weekly or more frequent audits of Amazon website using auditing tools, Amazon Vendor Central and website review to identify gaps & take corrective actions to ensure product images, content, descriptions etc. are accurate.   When opportunities cannot be fixed directly, provide the information to Customer Development Manager so they can address with the customer
  3. Accurately and in a timely manner upload, monitor and optimize Colgate content on Amazon website including product images, descriptions, bullet points, tagging, ingredients, videos and other product detail page content from eToolkits&/or Prodigi.  Understand Amazon’s website requirements.
  4. Ensure new products are implemented correctly and on time with Amazon
  5. Monitor 3rd Party sellers on Amazon to identify any incorrect usage of CP branded content: submit to Amazon Brand Registry to file a complaint and ensure information is corrected.  If not, then communicate to Customer Development Manager to address with Amazon buyer
  6. Track CP ASINs on Amazon to more accurately predict when they may be at risk of discontinuation by Amazon: eg ineligibility for search or Subscribe & Save.  Share with Customer Development Team to develop & implement actions. 
  7. Monitor Buy Box for priority SKUs & identify when Colgate is losing with recommendations on how to improve
  8. Analyze our of stock issues and identify opportunities to improve; share with Customer Development Team
  9. Monitor competitive activity and share with core eCommerce team 
  10. Identify best practices, testing and learning and sharing results with the team. 
  11. Identify, test, monitor and share Test and Learn opportunities
  12. Support Amazon Customer Development Team in preparing Amazon business reviews and on-going business updates, including the status of brand pages, product reviews and highlighting content opportunities for the retailers' websites
  13. Set up monthly promotions and other activities using Amazon tools

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including high-level knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint & Word

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience 
  • Prior Amazon experience 
  • Knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central 
  • Experience in Sales, Marketing and eCommerce
