Customer Solutions Specialist

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Provide a single point of contact for Premium customers
  • Use available resources to identify answers and solutions and provide follow up to Premium customers regarding shipments, coding, collections, corrections and any other customer resolution issue
  • Assist with the training of current and new Customer Solutions staff

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of experience working in transportation operations or logistics environment
  • 2 years of experience investigating customer complaints and issues and resolving problems to the customer's satisfaction
  • 1 year of experience utilizing various computer systems to search for missing freight
  • Demonstrated experience auditing, submitting corrections, and submitting Computer Information System requests
  • Knowledge and understanding of the basic requirements for freight movement

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Experience working in cargo claims
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Outlook) or basic computer skills
  • Ability to effectively cross-train other employees
