We are looking for an Account Executive to play a key role in NCS’ sales efforts with Print Publishers across the U.S. This individual will manage existing key publisher relationships and will be responsible for prospecting and closing new business opportunities among target publisher accounts.  The Account Executive will collaborate with the respective Publisher Insights/Analytics and Sales teams on the development of the opportunities to ensure a successful relationship and high client satisfaction. This individual will also work together with NCS resources and parent companies (Nielsen and Catalina) on go to market engagements to maximize NCS revenue opportunities.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

Business Development:

  • Identify and implement sales prospecting with target print publisher accounts.
  • Build and manage a robust and scalable sales pipeline.
  • Lead pricing conversations and contract negotiations while involving appropriate legal and business expertise available. Maintain consistent pricing and discounts across all constituents.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals and quotas.
  • Finalize and build client deliverables in a presentation-ready format.  Present client deliverables along with publisher to advertiser/agency.
  • Collaborate and leverage Nielsen and Catalina parent’s client experiences and relationships. Closely coordinate commercial growth activities with other relevant Nielsen teams working with the client.
  • Establish new revenue growth opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date prospect and client revenue opportunities in the CRM system including complete contact information, call reports, correspondence, price quotes and agreements.


 

Leadership:

  • Engages with clients with impact through compelling benefit-oriented communication and presentations.
  • Acts quickly on his/her feet by crafting the right response to challenging questions and tough issues.
  • Identify opportunities for better collaboration within NCS, Nielsen, eXelate, Catalina, partners and with clients.


 

Qualifications:

 

  • 3-5 years of experience in the media space with a focus on digital media, publishers and programmatic providers including digital activation via DMPs, DSPs, agency trading desks etc.
  • 2+ years’ experience in data driven sales role preferred.
  • Mid-level sales professional with experience monetizing cross-platform data driven solutions.
  • Account management, upselling and organizational skills preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Understanding and experience with digital campaigns and KPIs. Print experience a plus.
  • Proven knowledge of digital media ecosystem, data activation with experience in audience data selling a plus.
  • Comfort and proficiency in consultative selling.
