We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant/Specialist Anaesthetist to join an expanding Anaesthetic and Perioperative Services team in a regional Victoria location. Role

  • Deliver high-quality anaesthesia and perioperative care across a wide range of surgical specialties
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and on-call rosters
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors, registrars, and students
  • Engage in clinical governance, quality improvement, and research activities
  • Contribute to a supportive, collegiate, and forward‑thinking department

Qualifications

  • Fellowship of ANZCA (FANZCA) or equivalent
  • Specialist AHPRA registration, or eligibility for registration
  • International Medical Graduates with CCT/CCST or substantially comparable ANZCA assessment are encouraged to apply
  • Broad clinical expertise in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teaching skills
  • Commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, patient-centred care
