We provide free education, advocacy, and practical, solution‑focused support to help families maintain connection, work toward reunification, and strengthen parenting capacity.
Position Overview
The Executive Officer provides high‑level administrative, governance, and operational support to the Chief Executive Officer and the Direct Experience Group (DEG)—a lived‑experience advisory group that engages directly with the Minister for Child Protection on key issues impacting parents and families.
This role plays a central part in coordinating DEG activities, ensuring accurate and timely information flows between the DEG, the CEO, and the Minister’s office. The Executive Officer supports the preparation of briefings, reports, and strategic advice that reflect lived experience insights and contribute to improved system responses within the child protection sector.
The position requires exceptional organisation, communication, diplomacy, and confidentiality, and the capacity to manage sensitive issues within a complex stakeholder environment.
This is a part time role - 0.4te and SCHADS Level 5.
