JOB OVERVIEW

The Head of of IT Financial, Integration and Data Services is an innovative technology leader.  In this role, you will lead an enterprise-wide IT organization driven to deliver Financial, Integration and Data services for SAP Concur.   Your leadership and allocation of key resources, processes, systems a are critical for the continued growth at scale of the business.  Your in-depth knowledge of creating and improving high-performing teams, building best-in-class business and technical processes, and deep functional knowledge about the order-to-cash process (including consumption billing), integration and data movement technologies (middleware, SOA, ETL, etc), and data management (including master/transactional/event), along with managing large-scale programs will all be put to good use.

As a senior leader, you help set the tone for the team, ensuring tight alignment with key internal and external stakeholders, creating organization integration, and ensuring value delivery.  Using the latest agile and DevOps methodologies and patterns, you will support the team to driving efficiencies into the business.  You will also help develop the next set of leaders within the org, creating and maintain a culture of trust, high co-operation, curiosity and experimentation, and data-driven rigor.

This role requires a blend of servant leadership, communication, and business acumen along with learning agility and deep technical knowledge.  This leader will be a critical thinker with a strong technology and business process background.  He/she will encourage the team to think outside of the norm and finds the right situations. This role will lead multiple e2e IT teams that encompass all aspects of IT from intake to operating the product/solution for multiple business stakeholders. This role will report to the VP of SAP Concur IT.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and drive the IT financial, integration and data services function within SAP Concur, including managing multiple managers and product teams.
  • Align resources with business and technical objectives to deliver the highest business value for SAP Concur.
  • Design and drive organizational behavior to build a trusting, system-oriented, culture that values results, co-operation, experimentation, and learning.
  • Understand organization dynamics to effectively build consensus for solutions and processes among all stakeholders.
  • Drive the IT Roadmap and quarterly alignment processes, set and refine the key metrics.
  • Lead SAP IT Integration efforts as assigned.
  • Manage and support the business and technical operations of IT, such as budgeting, resource request and allocation, HR topics, risk and compliance management.
  • Developing and presenting solution proposals & recommendations, including analysis of options, justifications, and tradeoffs.
  • Mentor and coach the next set of IT leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of managing and developing teams, leaders, and high-talent individuals within the IT space.
  • 10+ years of leading successful enterprise transformational programs.
  • 10+ years in application design, development, and operations.
  • 10+ years working with applications and integrations to internal systems.
  • Technical depth and breadth in financial, billing, quoting, and CRM applications and the related master and transaction flow.
  • Broad-based experience in systems architecture and development, with demonstrated experience integrating multiple systems and business processes.
  • Strong understanding of change management for business processes and systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong communication and influence with executives.
  • Scaled Agile/SDLC experience (LeSS/SAFE).
  • DevOps experience (3 ways: systems thinking, feedback loops, culture of learning/experimentation, leading technologies for CD/CI/test automation/etc).
  • In depth knowledge of Program/Project development lifecycles.
  • Exposure to architectural concepts such as TOGAF.
  • Ability to pass a background check.

Business Apps: SAP S/4HANA, SAP BRIM, CRM, C4C, SAP Cloud Platform, PRM, PPM, Oracle EBS, MetraNet, Big Machines CPQ, SFDC, Professional Services Automation (PSA), Apttus, Docusign.

Other Technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, Selenium/Automated testing software, Terraform, Rundeck, Ainsible, Chef/Puppet, etc.
