International Tax Manager

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Engagement in various aspects in US International Tax Operations, including: provision, planning, transfer pricing, compliance and controversy
  • Management of US international tax compliance process
  • Assistance with US international tax aspects of tax accounting, including foreign tax credit positions, indefinite reinvestment assertions, valuation allowance analysis and quarterly review of regional tax accounting packages.
  • Maintenance and development of data collection systems, electronic workpaper files and tax compliance and provision software
  • Continuous improvement of tax processes and controls; development and implementation of best practices
  • Management and development of tax analysts and senior tax analysts

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
  • 4+ years in a US federal or international income tax role
  • 2+ years in a US international income tax role

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certification (CPA)
  • Master’s Degree in Taxation or JD
  • Previous Big 4, large CPA / Law firm or complex multinational corporation tax experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of a broad range of international corporate tax matters and US international tax attributes
  • Increasing familiarity with recently enacted US tax legislation
  • Experience with modeling potential impacts of tax transactions and their effects on the global effective tax rate
  • Comfort with technology, including expertise with Excel / Google Sheets, Docs, Slides
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Project management, leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to network and develop relationships with various internal and external contacts and stakeholders
