International Tax Manager


Our Global Finance organization is currently looking for an International Tax Manager.  This role will be located in our beautiful Global Executive headquarters on Brickell Avenue in Miami, Florida.

The Global Tax Department of Sitel is in search of an International Tax Manager to join their U.S. Finance organization. The candidate will report to the Tax Director and will be involved in various aspects of the company's tax planning and compliance activities as it relates to the U.S. inclusion of foreign operations. The position will partner with other members of the finance team including, Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury and Legal, and foreign teams. In addition, key constituents will include, external tax and legal counsel. The candidate will play an integral role in assisting the team achieve strategic objectives, drive process improvements, and support international tax teams with the goal of ensuring the firm's global tax requirements are complied with accurately and timely.

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years progressive experience in a multinational corporate tax department and/or public accounting
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Public accounting experience desired
  • CPA required
  • MST or LLM a +

Qualifications & Skills

  • In-depth U.S. Tax technical knowledge of outbound international taxation
  • Knowledge of U.S. inclusion of foreign operations - tax accounting and tax return compliance implications
  • Understand fundamental global transfer pricing rules and methodology application
  • Prior experience working at a large international corporate firm(s) desired
  • Well-organized, self-started, ability to prioritize and work independently
  • Must possess a high degree of analytical ability to deal with complex technical issues
  • High degree of communication and interpersonal skills, collaborative by nature
  • Proficient MS Office, tax research engines (CCH, BNA, etc.)



  • Perform technical reviews of quarterly subpart F inclusions - GILTI / BEAT
  • Review of bi-annual tax accrual packages from non-U.S. locations
  • Review Forms 5471s, 8865s, etc. prepared internal staff
  • Monitor tax attributes calculations supporting international provisions (E&P, PTI, FX, FTCs, and so forth)
  • Liaise with third party firms in complying with OECD (i.e. BEPS) filing requirements
  • Work with advisors in monitoring and testing TP allocation methodologies and contemporaneous documentation
  • Act as the key point of contact and support for our international taxation matters (FATCA/CRS and so forth)
  • Manage external tax authorities, audits, and consultants on regional ITS matters
  • Provide international tax technical support on M&A activities
  • Manage, develop, and mentor less experience team members
  • Ability to identify value-added opportunities and work in a team environment
  • Must be able to communicate, written and verbal, complex tax concepts in ways that are meaningful and useful to non-tax professionals
  • Participate in or lead special projects
