About the Team

You will be part of the Customer Relationship Marketing team responsible for developing and delivering marketing strategies that drive profitable growth in sales and customers for the Williams Sonoma and Williams Sonoma Home brands. CRM manages the marketing investment portfolio to maximize ROI, implements segmentation and targeting tactics to improve customer response, facilitates cross-functional efforts to drive key growth initiatives, and serves as thought leaders in evolving our marketing practice to reflect changes in customer behavior and technology.

About the Role

In the CRM Analyst role, you will be responsible for executing catalog campaigns from start to finish, focusing on targeting, testing, & optimization; analyzing & reporting on marketing portfolio performance; analyzing data to answer important business questions & make recommendations; and managing a complex budget. You will work cross-functionally, often stepping beyond your job description to solve problems and make our marketing more effective.

* Develop circulation and test plans for catalogs and other marketing campaigns.
* Execute marketing programs that drive sales and customer growth, including package insert programs, new store openings, direct mail, and others.
* Execute catalog campaigns from start to finish, coordinating all steps with internal partners (database production, data science, creative), list processing vendor, and printer.
* Provide insightful data on marketing portfolio performance, leveraging our multi-touch attribution solution, to guide decision making and offer proactive solutions.
* Analyze and report on test results and customer metrics. Maintain result histories. Make recommendations based on findings.
* Prepare monthly presentations of marketing results. Provide ad-hoc reports upon request.
* Update weekly sales and marketing reports, providing highlights of prior week's performance.
* Manage marketing expenses: verify, process, and track invoices; maintain cost history; reconcile versus budget; and communicate variances.
* Maintain key documents including circulation summaries, in-home calendars, production schedule, and more.
* Interact with peers on other WSI brands as well as cross-functional partners to share best practices, generate new ideas, and seek continual process improvement.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* You have a Bachelor's Degree
* You have 2-5 years CRM/Direct Marketing experience (Retail industry experience a plus)
* You demonstrate proven critical thinking and analytical skills
* You are adept at planning and prioritization in a deadline-driven environment

Technical Competencies required:

* Extensive Excel experience
* Experience with other Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
* Experience with Omniture (Adobe) a plus
* SQL, SAS, and/or statistical software skills a plus
