Marketing Coordinator


Work Schedule/Days:  Day / Monday - Friday

JOB SUMMARY

Provides support to the Marketing team through the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing and communications plans to meet system and business goals. Provides detailed project management, thorough market and competitive intelligence, and accurate performance analysis and reporting for marketing campaigns and tactics. Delivers excellent customer service to all internal and external business partners.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Communications, Business, or related field 

CERTIFICATION SUMMARY

  • No professional certifications required

EXPERIENCE*

  • 3 years of experience in a marketing/communications-related area and/or agency

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*

  • Familiarity with reviewing research and/or digital analytics reports to help optimize marketing initiatives
  • Experience in marketing, advertising, healthcare, non-profit, and/or fundraising

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES*

  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, implement, complete, and evaluate effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*

  1. Supports business partners in achieving program goals through the development and implementation of comprehensive, strategic, and integrated marketing plans.
  2. Ensures strategies and initiatives are aligned with identified business objectives based on a thorough market/audience analysis and have measurable results.
  3. Works to understand the business and builds relationships as a marketing communications expert.
  4. Exhibits initiative and provides business partners with sound strategic direction and recommendations while always aiming for continuous improvement.
  5. Executes marketing and communications plans, including overseeing the production schedule and distribution of print and electronic communication, maintaining editorial calendars, and coordinating timing of regular communication channels, while maintaining a high level of customer service, efficiently utilizing financial resources, adhering to brand guidelines, and ensuring timely delivery.
  6. Collaborates with extended Marketing and Communications team to strategically develop and integrate key messages and campaigns.
  7. Develops various communications materials, including basic project activation and communications plans.

SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES*

Safety: Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Responsible for the reporting of employee/patient/visitor injuries or accidents, or other safety issues to the supervisor and in the occurrence notification system.

 

Compliance: Monitors and ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, organizational standards, and policies and procedures related to area of responsibility. Identifies potential risk areas within area of responsibility and supports problem resolution process. Maintains records of compliance activities and reports compliance activities to the Compliance Office.
