Altis Aero Systems, a B/E Aerospace Company, is located in Savannah, GA and specializes in the design, development and manufacture of tubular systems for the aerospace industry.

 

As a leader in the aerospace industry, we are growing rapidly and have a number of exciting positions available right now, including an Assembler in our Altis business located in Savannah, GA.

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager the Assembler will performs electronic, electromechanical or mechanical production sub-assembly and assembly operations to build up and assemble units of moderate complexity by performing the following duties.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
