We are currently looking to recruit a Hub Manager Payroll UK & Nordics, to be located in Derby, UK

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
You’ll be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery (based on service level agreements) of payroll and reporting to both the business and external authorities for UK, Sweden and Denmark with a population of close to 4500 employees.
You will actively work and contribute to the other functions within HR (HRIS, HR Operations and CoE) to ensure delivery of a legally compliant payroll in accordance with country, local and business laws and policies.

YOUR TASKS
• Develop and stabilise in-built quality processes, anticipating and eliminating root causes for payroll errors, involving all relevant parties.
• Responsible for managing the payroll vendor, for your responsible countries, to ensure services are delivered in accordance with the terms of the contract and service level agreements.
• Actively manage continous improvement and develop a Lean culture within the teams.
• Ensure the governance of the agreed global (European) tools, procedures and processes (e.g. metrics, KPI analysis, payroll vendor R&Rs, global processes).
• Focus on team development towards functional professionalism as well as on structured problem solving, process analysis and integration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business / relevant functional area.
• CIPP qualification membership is desirable.
• Solid knowledge in UK or Sweden Payroll and Tax legislation, in a global/multinational environment.
• Experience in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Leadership & coaching adept.
• Good knowledge of SAP or other Payroll system, and Excel.
