Position: Sales Operations Analyst, Salesforce

 

Role:

The Sales Operations Salesforce Analyst is responsible for the daily salesforce support for the global sales team, leadership team and operational staff for all sales and account related data and information in salesforce. This role ensures sales data integrity, sales process efficiencies, global sales process and salesforce training across the global sales organization. The Sales Operations Salesforce Analyst leads the development, implementation, maintenance and distribution of all salesforce reporting and dashboards as inspired, directed and requested across all levels and areas of the sales organization. From CRO to sales executives and sales operations for account management and territory data, opportunity, activity and campaign data and all contract record data integrity and reporting.

Salesforce.com reporting expertise and ability to acquire command of Gracenote custom salesforce functionality is essential to effective, accurate and reliable data management which is critical to this role.  

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Go-to salesforce resource for assistance, troubleshooting, problem-solving and one-off requests related to all sales data and reporting for the entire, diverse, global sales leadership and sales teams (70+ GN associates)
  • Identify, direct and follow-through on salesforce training for new and existing sales team and maintain comprehensive salesforce sales training manual. Provide global sales training via hangouts, one-on-one or through written directives.
  • Direct and maintain global sales salesforce database integrity including normalizing and reconciling data disparities and duplication, integrating legacy company data points, identifying and recommending database required fields and values and by designing, creating and managing checks and balances to monitor global sales data entry for accuracy especially in sales territory management and revenue forecasting               
  • Design, develop and maintain effective, standard, consistent salesforce reporting and dashboards for sales leadership, sales teams and sales verticals essential to driving revenue growth and sales success
  • Conduct analysis and deliver trends and informative actionable directives to sales team as informed by salesforce and sales data
  • Identify and design efficiencies and new methods for sales process to save time and resource without compromising data integrity and output. Identify and maintain evolving database requirements by collaborating with salesforce admin, sales  leadership, sales teams and operations to define needs and recommend design and functional enhancements to optimize data entry and meet CRO desired metrics for reporting and analysis
  • Increase sales productivity by identifying, driving implementation and training on standardized tools that support sales efficiencies specifically simplified integration between email and salesforce. i.e. Cirrus
  • Support sales and leadership teams with account, product and sales research requests including complex, detailed execution of territory assignments, contract record management and salesforce cases to save sales teams  time and create efficient, consistent and timely communications for other business teams
  • Act as back up to our sole company-wide salesforce administrator with the only other working knowledge of the Gracenote salesforce instance and with deeper experience and expertise in salesforce reporting capabilities and functions to support sales leadership and sales reps needs to meet and exceed sales revenue targets
  • Experience with, maintain and enhance Gracenote Salesforce Einstein Analytics platform   

 

Requirements / Qualifications :

 

  • Salesforce Administrator & Einstein Analytics expertise, experience and knowledge is preferred
  • Exceptional salesforce reporting and dashboard expertise to meet CRO and sales leaders needs
  • Highly motivated self – starter with ability to work independently and under tight deadlines, prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong Gracenote product knowledge & working knowledge with Gracenote operational functions across all business functions that impact sales i.e. finance, customer success, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to support and engaged a diverse global sales and sales leadership teams 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to document clear, concise instructional process and how-to instructions and reference manuals
  • Salesforce Data Loader expertise is necessary
  • Proficient in Excel, Google suite and ability to self-teach helpful salesforce apps such as Cirrus   
  • Bachelor’s Degree or other related experience
