Sr. Sourcing Programs Analyst


About the Role:

The Sourcing Center of Excellence (S-COE) team at Boston Scientific (BSC) has an exciting opportunity for a high performing Senior Sourcing Programs Analyst to support new capability development and the expanded supplier diversity program.  The Sourcing COE provides analytical and reporting support, while introducing best practices, process improvements and capability build, across the global sourcing organization. The S-COE also is responsible for the stewardship and enhancement of the Supplier Diversity Program. Additionally, the Senior Analyst will work across, and up-down, the BSC management structure to plan, report, analyze, and communicate on spend, compliance to policies, and spend drivers.

Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with the roll out of companywide SRM and Risk Management Programs
  • Compilation and reporting of sourcing metrics
  • Assist team with Source-to-Contract Ariba modules design and implementation, specifically with: testing, training, communications and change management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build, maintain, and report on cash flow initiatives
  • Evaluate and assist with implementation of Tier II diversity reporting system
  • Refine process for identifying and including diverse suppliers in sourcing events
  • Assist with the development of the Diverse Supplier Development Program
  • Lead/coordinate monthly process to clean up, research and reclass supplier/part data
  • Analyze various components of global spend data and provide recommendations to improve internal processes to improve data collection, analytics & dissemination
  • Assist in the compilation of executive reports, and sourcing plan development and refreshes
  • Contribute by recommending improvements and enhancements to related processes and reporting.

What We’re Looking For:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or Finance
  • 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Advanced computer skills (modeling, macros, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Oracle/Hyperion, and Ariba)
  • Excellent analysis, communication, organizational and prioritization skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adhere to tight deadlines, attention to detail
  • Must have highly developed customer relationship skills with strong service orientation
  • Holds self-accountable in performance metrics-based culture
