Internal Job Description:

 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES    

The Warehouse Supervisor plans, organizes and oversees efficient performance and quality production of the Warehouse Associates, Warehouse Trainees and Equipment Operators. In addition the Warehouse Supervisor assigns work, ensures that training needs are met and handles all administrative issues. He/she oversees the receipt, processing, storing, picking, packing and shipping of materials and parts. He/she performs other related activities as directed by the Operations manager, or Warehouse Superintendent

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

 

·         Independently and routinely assigns and supervises work, and trains subordinates.

·         Maintains documentation in accordance with Company policies and procedures (i.e., Attendance     and Performance Records)

·         Trains and evaluates employees assigned to his/her department to ensure performance to goals and that quality standards are met.

·         Receives inquiries and/or complaints from employees, customers and dealers, and responds accordingly to promote positive relationships.

·         Inspects work performed to ensure that quality standards as established by the Company are being met.

·         Works cooperatively with other departments to accomplish tasks.

·         Monitors and controls inventory.

·         Actively maintains a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.

·         Ensures quality expectations are being met with processes adhered.

·         Actively looking for opportunities to save on AGCO costs and expenses.

·         Operates all plant equipment once certified by the employer to do so.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education:

·         High school diploma or GED.

·         Bachelors in business or a related field or equivalent experience preferred

 

Experience:

·         One to three years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

·         Previous supervisory training experience

·         Knowledge of distribution, warehousing or logistics systems preferred.

·         Knowledge of agricultural parts, machinery and equipment preferred.
