Technology & Contracts Administrator


Accomplish negotiation, award and administration of research contracts, grants, and collaboration agreements with specialized experience in technology transfer agreements administration. Individual should have experience in interfacing with technical staff and management in processing research agreements such as Small Business Innovation Program / Small Business Technology Transfer Program (SBIR/STTR); Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs); collaboration agreements; grants; and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and its supplements is required. Background in Intellectual Property and data rights is helpful. The individual must have services experience working in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to effectively handle multiple as well as urgent or quick turn-around assignments.

 

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Perform all analysis to ensure signature ready legal agreements
  • Accomplish tasking in support of the day-to-day management and administrator of technology transfer instruments
  • Support daily operations of the Contracts Actions Team the current prime contract

 

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years work experience in compliance, regulatory, legal issues and management or government contracts and contract administration required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in legal analysis and research is desirable
  • Able to work independently and set priorities to meet work assignment deadlines
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance required

 

Education:

JD or Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and experience desired, Bachelor’s Degree required.
