The Global Technology (IT) Procurement Analyst will develop, hone and execute procurement processes, procedures and initiatives that support cost reductions, supplier consolidation, procurement process efficiencies, risk mitigation and standardization across businesses. Participate in the development, implementation, compliance, and monitoring of purchasing policies, procedures and ethical practices.  The position will work in collaboration with the procurement team, finance team, business stakeholders and vendors to manage procurement activities and projects as assigned.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • IT Contract/SOW analysis and negotiations experience.
  • Partner with stakeholders to negotiate terms to mitigate risk and maximize deal value.
  • Manage/Identify a pipeline of sourcing projects.
  • Procurement processes/procedures development, implementation and enforcement.
  • Work closely with IT and Finance Teams to ensure that invoicing and payment occur on a timely and accurate basis.
  • Contribute to all administrative requirements including contract management, procure-to-pay processing and related metrics/reporting.
  • Drive approved vendor list development, adoption and optimization to reduce noncompliant spend and improve deal leverage.
  • Development, management and evaluation of RFIs, RFPs and RFQs.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or closely related fields.
  • 5 years+ experience in IT procurement and IT contract negotiations.
  • IT Professional Services/Application Development and Software Licensing sourcing background highly desired.
  • Certified Purchasing/Supply Manager (CPM)(CPSM) certification preferred.
  • Proficient in spreadsheet data analysis and data presentation. (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Exhibits and promotes a positive attitude, tenacity, and drive focused on accomplishing team objectives and addressing workload with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, decision-making and time management skills.
  • Potential to split time across Chicago and Downers Grove, IL offices.
