The Partner Product Manager on-site at Facebook helps prioritize, scope and maintain intersecting Nielsen product roadmaps in order to optimize joint resource allocation between Facebook and Nielsen for products leveraging the Facebook-Nielsen partnership.  This person works closely with members of the Facebook Marketing Science team, the onsite Nielsen Tech Strat Project Manager, Nielsen Media Analytics technical resources, and Nielsen Product Leadership.  This person will report into Digital PL, and should be well-versed in the following product areas:
 

  • Currency Reach Focus
    • DAR – US & International
    • DCR - US & International

       
  • Currency Reach and Audience Link Focus
    • TAR - US & International*
    • TCR - US*

 

  • Audience Link Focus
    • Resonance - Brand Effect
    • Reaction – Watch Effect, Marketing Effectiveness
    • Custom Analytics  (Enhanced Segmentation, Viewer Journey, Custom Reach)

       

This person should be comfortable in articulating measurement strategy and business case to internal Nielsen and Facebook client stakeholders, ranging from business to technical functions.  Key skills include creative problem solving, quantitative analytics and technical acumen. 

 

General Duties- AL

  • Prioritize AL development work across FB and multiple Nielsen business stakeholders
  • Shepherd new Identity matches within AL, coordinating across FB and NLSN teams to ensure that paperwork is in place, data preparation proceeds correctly, and data flows smoothly between NLSN, Facebook and any involved third parties
  • Facilitate methodology and engineering development within AL - working closely with FB Engineering and Marketing Science, NLSN Marketing Analytics, Engineering and Data Science
  • Manage infrastructure enhancements and audits- including updates to Security protocol

 

General Duties – Currency Reach

  • First line of defense for product inquiries or support on site at Facebook, key point of contact for measurement client partners on currency reach products (e.g. Josh S.)
  • Partner closely with the Digital Product Leadership team to deeply understand product priorities and requirements.  Own prioritization of Reach features on FB backlog, with input from respective Product Leaders.
  • In partnership with Tech (Nikolay) and Tech Strategy (Holly) translate Nielsen roadmap into relevant Facebook requests and requirements
  • Compile materials and ultimately lead quarterly Reach roadmap updates to Facebook on future enhancements and prioritization
  • Plan and execute product roadmap and design sessions with FB Marketing Science team- including brainstorming to solve industry issues
  • Note: commercial ownership and negotiation stays with the CS team
