Responsible for transporting patients, assisting with procedures, processing instruments, and assisting with supply chain and clerical duties, in the ongoing support of the Department.

MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:

- Must have six months previous experience in a procedure area or in general patient care.

Certification/Registration/Licensure:

- Must have CPR certification or be able to pass two-man CPR course within 90 days of employment from one of the following:
oAmerican Heart Association
oAmerican Red Cross Rescuer
oMilitary Training Network.

Skills or Special Abilities:
- Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of equipment in order to monitor its general working condition.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and hospital staff.
- Must be able to demonstrate patient centered/patient valued behaviors.
