BUSINESS CONTRIBUTION: The role of the Technical Analyst I is to ensure proper computer operation by maintaining personal computers, peripherals and network devices. This person acts as first level user support, solves basic to advanced technical problems, maintains IS security administration, analyzes and resolves end user hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provides end user training where required.



  • Provide end user support in manufacturing and distribution environment
  • Install, configure, test, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and networked devices
  • Build rapport and elicit problem details from Help Desk customers, providing education and resolution to end users in response to support calls
  • Assist users with software updates, proper backup and recovery procedures
  • Maintain inventory of hardware equipment and software licenses 



  • High school diploma or nationally recognized regionally accredited equivalent required
  • Technology courses or related experience preferred
  • A+ Certification strongly preferred
  • Network+ Certification strongly preferred


  • Excellent ability for troubleshooting and resolving a wide range of hardware and software problems. Demonstrated proficiency in network devices, PC operating systems, application software and associated hardware. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, Windows 10, networks, and networked printers.
  • Ability to interact and work with a large variety of end-users.
  • Must be a team player with very good oral/written communication skills.
  • Must have strong organization and problem solving skills, along with ability to work effectively with internal and external clients.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various software product licensing requirements.
  • Must be able to prioritize work to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning, customer focus, quality commitment and good relationship skills
  • Demonstration of a high degree of flexibility
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to climb stairs occasionally and perform diagnostic repair 20-40 feet above floor
  • Must be able to work effectively and communicate with others in a team environment
  • English fluency for safety, training and documentation purposes
  • Stable work history with good employment references
  • Excellent attendance record



  • Day Shift:  Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
  • Occasional support may be required for second shift, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Additional overtime may be necessary to support business needs, reasonable notice will be provided
