As a DevOps Engineer supporting our Enterprise CRM product based on Dynamics 365 Online, you will work primarily on the 2 flagship applications, including their supporting integrations with enterprise data systems and applications.   You will work with a small team of engineers supporting both production and the numerous development environments.  Your job duties will include:


  • Function as one of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 system administrators for production and development installations.  You will be responsible for platform level changes, system settings and maintenance operations of the system to ensure system availability.
    • Be a primary escalation point for production issues from partnering technology teams or CRM Support
    • Establish and maintain a relationship with Microsoft contacts (PFE's) to assist with issue resolution.
    • Assist in maintaining a backlog of Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform feature request and defects.   Provide timeline and roadmaps for resolution in partnership with Microsoft and business owners
    • Be conversant with various Dynamics 365 configuration and customization techniques
    • Maintain and enhance platform specific automated deployment systems
    • Maintain and enhance automated application health check and performance monitoring tooling
  • Function as a CI/CD engineer supporting numerous enterprise integration applications
    • Maintain and enhance build and deployment scripting for our on-premise Java and .Net applications
    • Maintain and enhance build scripts for our Azure environment
    • Partner with Test Engineering to ensure automated tests are integrated in the various pipelines
    • Maintain and enhance automated application health check and monitoring
  • Be a Change Owner for application changes.    Responsible for generating or collecting all relevant documentation in support of Enterprise Change Management procedures.   Ensure that implementation plans are sufficient for change success.

Additionally, a background in more than one of the following concepts or technologies and a willingness to learn the others quickly:

  • Windows Powershell
  • Azure Provisioning (Ansible, Ansible Tower, YAML, Azure CLI)
  • C# for creating/maintaining small console applications
  • SQL
  • Node and associated technologies
  • Git (will need to learn GitHub and GitLab flows)
  • Jenkins
  • Docker
