Certified Labs began business in 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas with a store front maintenance supply business. We realized early that the need for exceptional products and service was universal. We began opening offices and hiring Sales Representatives outside of Texas, in the 1950’s and have been growing ever since. Today, Certified is one of the largest manufacturers of lubricants in the world, with plants, warehouses and sales offices located throughout 6 continents. We offer advanced performance lubricants, application equipment, value added services and technical expertise to solve our Customers’ most difficult heavy equipment and industrial lubrication problems.

A little about you

  • You have work experience in a corporate setting. You preferably have a bachelor’s degree, and 1-2 years of experience working in a corporate setting, internships count. Having a working knowledge of basic talent acquisition processes and some experience screening candidates is a plus. You are also proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs.
  • You love to travel and meet new people. You are a self-proclaimed “road warrior” and have no qualms about traveling 3-4 days a week. You absolutely LOVE meeting new people and haven’t met a stranger, yet.
  • You are an innovative problem solver.  You look at the way things are done and always ask yourself if there is a better way to do it.  You bring innovative ideas to the table to improve process efficiency.  When tasked with a problem, finding the solution excites you. 
  • You excel in relationship building. You know how to build strong relationships. You’re a great collaborator and team player. You enjoy conversations and interviews, truly getting to know people for who they are.
  • You’re a confident communicator. You consider yourself a people-person. You work well with others and can confidently communicate, whether in-person, on the phone or via email, with a variety of people, including those you have never met. Actually, phone conversations – screening and asking questions – is no problem for you. You carry a very professional demeanor and are able to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • You are willing to jump right in. You love helping others and are willing to support the team wherever needed, even when it comes to administrative duties. You don’t need a ton of supervision because you’re accountable and can juggle a variety of tasks as they come in. You’re also a quick learner, which makes new tasks easy for you.
  • Coordination is a strong-suit for you. You love to have a lot going on and can easily keep all the parts and pieces moving without even having to be told to do so. You are organized. With high volume recruitment comes a high volume of moving parts and pieces. You are able to keep these parts pieces moving in an organized fashion – applications, open positions, interviews, etc. – so that no detail is missed.
  • You’re a Leader. You enjoy taking ownership of projects and process. You have no problem providing guidance to peers and direct reports. You are comfortable managing projects and people, always enforcing best practices and ensuring a process is followed.


Day-to-day work examples

We support growth, opportunity and variety, which means your day-to-day has the potential to adapt with you and your passions. If you’re not challenged and growing, neither are we. For starters, though, here are some day-to-day examples of what you will be doing:

  • Manage sales recruiting process from start to finish- from writing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, and conducting first stage interviews, to negotiating an offer  and processing new hire paperwork
  • Serve as a talent advisor to the VP of Sales leading multiple strategic priorities related to sales recruiting
  • Grow and maintain a talent pipeline
  • Travel within the US and hold interviews
  • Keep up on the latest trends and metrics in talent acquisition
