Marina Operations Coordinator - California Recreation Company

Position Summary:


Responsible for marina operation administration including operating expense management, accounting, purchase orders and service contracts, invoice processing, IT coordination, human resource support, employee safety programs, incident reporting, emergency response programs and environmental compliance. The Marina Operations Coordinator also provides support to the leasing team

Job Duties:

  • Have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented and a self motivated team player
  • Enthusiastically market and promote the marinas to achieve maximum occupancy and customer satisfaction
  • Conduct marina tours with prospective customers and have a solid understanding of marina locations, amenities, benefits and vacancies
  • Manage procurement of marina services and supplies and ensure compliance with Company contracting and purchasing policies
  • Reconcile invoices with approved purchase orders and contracts including verification of amounts, quantities, pricing, and coding
  • Maintain adequate inventories of maintenance supplies and materials
  • Obtain bids and proposals for materials and contract services
  • Be familiar with environmental and hazmat handling and disposal policies, regulations and procedures
  • Understand emergency response procedures
  • Create/update compliance and procedure manuals
  • Manage files, data and information on and offsite
  • Development the annual operating budget and updates to forecasts
  • Coordinate IT and telephone related issues with corporate IT teams
  • Properly report and record incidents and accidents to corporate entities
  • Conduct other duties as assigned by the General Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft and Google Office programs
  • Must be able to swim
  • Must have a valid California driver license
