Are you a sales superstar looking to take your talents to the next level? Join our team at Sun Communities and embark on an exciting new opportunity! We are looking for a Sales Manager to oversee the sales one of our communities.

OVERVIEW

As a Sales Manager, you’ll manage the new home and brokered sales within a specified manufactured housing community, including the advertising, inputting of home orders, coordinating closings, and showing homes to prospects. Additionally, you’ll hire and supervise all sales team members.

JOB DUTIES

  1. Coordinate team member selection, training, scheduling and development and ensure team members comply with appropriate policies and procedures.
  2. Show prospective buyers new, pre-owned and brokered homes for sales in the community.
  3. Collaborate with Community Manager to select sites for Sun Homes models; assist in decision making and processing orders of model homes, including pricing.
  4. Prioritize site preparation for incoming retail sold homes and new Sun model homes.
  5. Coordinate model presentation (i.e. cleaning, furniture, repairs, and warranty work).
  6. Advertise and market homes for sale in the community (i.e. ads, flyers, mailers, banners, community outreach, etc.).
  7. Coordinate and host open houses as necessary.
  8. Request closing packages and perform closings.
  9. Handle and resolve buyer issues as needed.
  10. Produce monthly reports on sales, traffic and sales campaigns.
  11. Handle and supervise all calls and traffic to the Sales office.
  12. Review and authorize invoices for payment pertaining to Sun Homes sales.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years real estate sales experience, preferably in the manufactured housing industry
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Basic computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to use email and internet
