Associate Materials Analyst

Real World Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for supporting operations within the materials team, focusing on material and information flow from receiving through delivery to the assembly line.

 

  • Developing, prototyping, testing and upgrading systems and processes from concept through implementation
  • Assessing processes, collecting and interpreting data
  • Designing and coordinating interdepartmental shop floor layouts
  • Assisting with related ECOs
  • Ability to breakdown a process into digestible steps in order to train team members on new processes
  • Continuously evaluating current state for need of standardization possibilities

 

Must haves:

  • 4 year degree in Supply Chain, Engineering Management, IE, or related field by hire date
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing methods and Kanban systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent learning and training skills.
  • Flexible work schedule and overtime when necessary.
  • PC skills, including MS Word and Excel

 

Nice to haves:

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience with databases and bar coding systems
  • Experience with Oracle
