What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Administer weekly billing for assigned clients within specified timeframe, inclusive of invoice preparation, transmission of invoice to client and reporting to Finance
  • Administer weekly settlement for assigned clients, if required, within the defined timeframe
  • Research discrepancies and resolve according to determined process and workflow
  • Validate invoicing for accuracy; correspond with key stakeholders to resolve inaccuracies or issues
  • Complete daily tasks and monitoring activity to ensure efficiency throughout the week and to prep for weekly invoice cycle
  • Prepare related reports for client, Finance, and other key stakeholders
  • Work hand in hand with Advanced Solutions team to identify, improve and implement effective process changes
  • Manage and monitor improvement actions to measure success of changes

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in accounting, invoicing or freight audit and payment operations
  • Ability to communicate to customers, coworkers and management in a professional manner
  • Exceptional attention to detail-oriented tasks
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a rapidly-changing environment
  • Ability to travel between regions/corporate headquarters as required
  • Ability to work nights and weekends

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other business applications
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable
  • 1 year of experience in a customer service-oriented environment
