WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The Category and Solutions Insights leader is tasked with identifying key business drivers and growth opportunities by leveraging category and shopper expertise.  This includes scanning the industry / market for retail & shopper trends and partnerships with external trends spotters.

The Category Solutions team in Customer Development serves a critical role in our customers, ensuring retail performance across customers and categories. We translate data to insights and insights to actions to create winning retail solutions for our customers and their shoppers.  We define and lead best practices across space and category management.  We are a team of motivated and passionate individuals who thrive on solving shopper problems along her path to purchase and helping our customers succeed.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Demonstrate a robust understanding, not only within the greetings and gift wrap categories, but of the entire retail box. 
  • Architect two to five year growth ideas, initiatives and robust test-and-learn plans that lean into both brick-and-mortar as well as seamless omni-channel experiences, utilizing predictive modeling to project and scale impact supporting retailer strategy.  
  • Provide a tremendous value by deepening strategic partnerships with existing retailers and helping in the renewal and acquisition of key contracts.
  • You will be responsible for developing critical middle manager leaders and recruiting top talent.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

The following is required to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor Degree or 4+ years professional experience
  • 10+ years of space, category, analytics or product development experience, including previous management and leadership experience.
