Job Description Summary


  • Assist in the monthly financial close process, including but not limited to preparation of journal entries, processing and uploading of payroll files and Capex reporting.
  • Preparation of monthly cash reconciliations (Payroll & Accounts Payable) for a complex corporate environment.
  • Preparation of weekly flash reporting.
  • Review of corporate financial results for accuracy & reasonableness including reporting and analysis of monthly financial variances.
  • Analysis and review of monthly balance sheet account movements and preparation of selected account reconciliations.
  • Assist in the preparation of the monthly management reporting.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual consolidated budgets for the corporate group.
  • Assist in the preparation of interim and year end IFRS reporting.
  • Perform other ad hoc analysis as required.




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 3+ years of financial reporting & analysis-related experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required specifically (but not limited to) pivot table and vlookups, competency with financial reporting systems and tools - Lawson and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) experience a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience working within a financial reporting environment with strong understanding of financial accounting principles.
  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical and investigative skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to relate to all levels of management.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently under time pressure.
  • Demonstrated team player, comfortable in a team environment with changing priorities and time pressures.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently.
