The Pharmaceutical Operations and Clinical Supply organization is within Pharmaceutical Sciences and is responsible for drug product manufacturing for clinical studies, stability studies and new drug filings.  Our diverse team of highly talented engineers, chemists and biologists help drive innovative drug therapies to the targeted disease categories.  

A co-op position is available in 2019 in the Pharm Ops and Clinical Supply group based at our West Point, PA site supporting our sterile liquid pilot plant.  During your co-op assignment you will work closely with experienced drug product clinical operations personnel on a project with key tasks that sterile liquid pilot plant operations.  

  A letter of reference from a professor is highly recommended; you may attach it in the same section of the profile as your resume.



Education Minimum Requirement:   
  • Candidates must be currently pursuing a BS or MS in Chemical/Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Chemistry or other related fields  
Required Experience and Skills:
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time for up to (6) consective months beginning in spring of 2019
  • Candidates must have solid academic background in engineering, biology and chemistry. 
  • Candidates must have basic experience with Microsoft office
  • Candidates must have a hands-on mindset
  • Candidates must have strong personal character and ethics 
  • Candidates must have superior communication and interpersonal skills
  • Candidates must have excellent academic achievement and problem solving skills
  • Candidatesmust be a good team player and ability to work independently 
Preferred Experience and Skills:
  • Candidates with aseptic processing experience are preferred.
  • Candidates with experience utilizing Minitab are preferred.
  • Candidates with certification in Six Sigma are preferred.
