Services Business Development Specialist

As Services Business Development Specialist, you will help support our services business operations around Microsoft, including reporting, management, and reconciliation of sale pipeline, business investment funding, and other funding related incentives.

 

You will be part of a fast-paced, results oriented group within Insight that interacts with all areas of our business. Ideal candidates must be self-starters and be able to manage and maintain daily tasks on their own. This role will work closely with alliances, product management, sales, and leadership across the organization.

 

Roles and responsibilities:

 

  • Manage Insight’s instance of Microsoft’s Partner Sales Connect (PSC), which is an online application that shares sales pipeline information and facilitates deal registration with Microsoft’s field sellers.
  • As PSC administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: registering co-sell deals and managing them to closure, reporting close deals back to MSFT for proof of ROI/partner impact, reporting our services pipeline to Microsoft and projected influence on Microsoft revenue.
  • Create reports on data and share those reports with stakeholders across Insight and Microsoft
  • Manage Insight’s participation in Microsoft Services Investment Programs like: ECIF, PIE, FastTrack, and Go Fast
  • Be the subject matter expert around these programs
  • Provide recurring updates to Insight’s solution offering listings in the Microsoft One Commercial Partner Catalog
  • Attend cadence calls with Microsoft teams to provide updates and details about accounts and activities
  • Attend trainings and office hours with Microsoft to understand changes to systems and conveying those changes to leadership
  • Own and drive simplification and automation with processes and tools- streamline and communicate process
  • Proactively identify and manage improvements connecting cross group functionality across organization
  • Build, develop and maintain highly collaborative and effective working relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate exceeding business goals

     

    Skills:

     

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Productivity tools including but not limited to: Excel, SharePoint, Team, Skype for Business, OneDrive, and Outlook
  • Basic knowledge of sales methodologies, pipeline management, and terms
  • Understanding of CRM systems and management
