Operations Manager II

About the role:

Tasked with leading Operations for our Infection Prevention group. Successful candidate will manage multiple production areas while establishing a culture of accountability to improve plant performance and drive toward continuous growth.


Your Responsibilities Include: 

  • Coach and mentor production team, motivate individuals to achieve results and recruit and maintain a high-quality staff.
  • Ensure compliance to quality systems and partner with Quality function in setting direction for production.
  • Anticipate business needs and external market trends in driving department and plant production.
  • Drive plant performance by establishing aggressive plant and department cost and budget objectives.
  • Initiate cross-functional partnerships to identify and resolve production/engineering issues.
  • Establish key business initiatives (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma, Shared Leadership, Employee Involvement, etc.) and sponsor involvement, direction and accountability.
  • Work cross-functionally to establish, prioritize and ensure accountability to projects in improving department or plant performance (i.e. VIP, STAR, Lean).


What we're looking for in you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics or Applicable Field.
  • Desirable knowledge in: Tools (Statistics, Technical Manuals, Kaizen, Six Sigma), Regulatory Industry management, DOE, Statistical and Experimental Analysis.
  • Global Supply Chain experience a must.
  • At least 2-3 years in current position.
  • Strong Problem-Solving skills with experience in Operations and project management
  • Proven ability to Influence & lead teams
