Registered Nurse (RN) Complex GI, Wound, and Bariatric Program Coordinator - FT Days Sign on Bonus of $5,000 Available! Position Summary: * Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer and Manager of Clinical Excellence, coordinates the care of complex GI surgical patients, inpatient wound and ostomy care and the Bariatric program. * The Coordinator will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to meet patient and family needs, develop guidelines, provide staff, patient and community education, implement necessary research, monitor patient outcomes, market the product line, develop and implement successful initiatives to grow the designated programs. * The coordinator will ensure the facility and Bariatric program meet all the Standards of a Bariatric Center of Excellence in order to apply and maintain certification. * This position also functions as a Clinical Reviewer, which manages all data quality input in order to meet the standards for bariatric program certification. * The coordinator will provide nursing leadership for assessment, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care of assigned area(s) with twenty-four (24) hour accountability following all regulatory and patient safety standards. Experience: 3 years of clinical nursing experience and eligible to become Wound and Ostomy certified. Program and/or project management experience preferred.
