Job Description

  • Supervise hourly operations and maintenance employees in the performance of routine, preventive, predictive, and emergency maintenance
  • Responsible for Safety, Health & Environmental situations
  • Maintain all plant equipment in a manner that allows production to maximize its usage through effective preventive and predictive maintenance techniques
  • Spare parts management and leadership
  • Performs planning and scheduling of maintenance for entire facility
  • Prioritizes plant maintenance requirements and allocates manpower where appropriate
  • Administrator of the Plant’s computer maintenance software and supervises data entry and retrieval procedures
  • Identifies equipment problems and recommends replacement repair parts and installation
  • Coordinates contracts and oversees contractors who are in support of the Plant operations and maintenance

 

Required Skills

  • Ability to communicate throughout all levels of the organization
  • Good employee relations and people skills

Required Experience

  • BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering
  • Three years of supervision experience in an industrial plant
  • Additional experience can be substituted for the BS degree
