Showroom Manager- San Francisco, CA



The Showroom Manager is responsible for managing the day to day running of the showroom to ensure that the showroom is visually merchandised, and that the highest level of customer service is always given. The Showroom Manager is also responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities of the team, carrying out corporate initiatives and goals, protecting the integrity of the level of service customers receive, and tracking projects in their area to achieve brand presences and marketability of Cosentino products


  • Manage and motivate Design Sales team to grow sales and distribution of all the center’s affiliated company’s product lines in the area
  • Develop and build relationships with key architects and designers in the area
  • Responsible for driving commercial sales across the area, as well as partnering with local ADSMs and AMs to close sales
  • Drive showroom traffic to center
  • Manage National Account relationships and compliance
  • Analyze, position, and execute business in the builder, K&B, A&D, retailer, and commercial market segments
  • Maximize the synergy between commercial and promotional opportunities
  • Market and co-advertise based on region for all brands with corporate coordination, this includes focusing promotional efforts on point of purchase displays (vignettes and samples) 
  • Ensure Cosentino Showroom and displays are always neat and tidy and presenting the highest Cosentino image
  • Handle all customer complaints and needs as promptly as possible
  • Organize showroom maintenance and resets as needed
  • Ensure marketing items are on hand at all times as business departments allow
  • Coordinate and align branch personnel to ensure they are performing their duties
  • Create and adhere to yearly budget as it relates to expenses and revenue
  • Penetrate assigned geographic area with all Cosentino products
  • Define the strategies, priorities, and frameworks (commercial, promotional activity, marketing, management, reporting, etc.)
  • Manage key customers in the area: planning, visits, development of the relationship, sales, etc.
  • Support the team in identifying and evaluating business opportunities, this includes tracking competitor activity
  • Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety procedures and safeguards are enforced at the showroom
  • Conduct CEU course presentations
  • Maintain constant communication with the Regional Director to support business
  • Coordinate with Corporate HR Team to ensure timecards are up to date every pay period and that all HR needs are met
  • Review processes on an ongoing basis and make recommendations to improve efficiency and service levels
  • Membership and involvement in organizations affiliated in our industry
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience
  • Must have a valid Driver’s license



  • Ability to carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Conduct outside sales 40% of the time
  • Language: English required, bilingual in Spanish preferred
  • Experience with SAP or other Order Management program preferred
  • Membership in ASID or local equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and build value-based relationships with customers
  • Negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to read and understand financial statements – general accounting rules
  • Ability to promote and sell
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to manage team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
