JOB SUMMARY

Instructors spend more time with guests than any other employee and while they are tasked with improving the skiing/riding ability of their students, their primary goals are to keep them safe, and inspire them to have fun and develop a passion for the sport.

Certified Instructors are assigned to our different lesson programs based on their experience, availability, personality and work performance. They also contribute to the operation of the school and the resort beyond teaching lessons and may be assigned to perform ambassadorial or labor duties to support our programs. We provide a large variety of both paid and voluntary training opportunities for all experience levels and certification goals as well as competitive pay rates, and some of the best employee benefits in the industry including subsidized healthcare insurance for eligible full time employees. Work levels vary based on full/part time status, performance and customer demand.

For the majority of our lesson assignments, an empathetic, patient yet outgoing personality and a passion for helping others discover the joy of snowsports is more important than an advanced, technical skiing or snowboarding ability. So while current ski/snowboard instructor certification is required for this position, if you are uncertified please browse our listings for Non-Certified Instructor openings.
