Compassionate PACE Driver

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Our PACE Drivers are an important part of this care team by safely transporting passengers to and from their passengers. These extra steps make all the difference.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Transport physically limited passengers to varied destination both timely, safely and door through door.
  • Ensure that the vehicle is in proper working order. Report and document maintenance performed.
  • Assist passengers on and off the vehicle in a safe and courteous manner. Deal with medical equipment and other emergencies that may arise. 
  • Follow established schedules, adjusts schedules to meet unanticipated changes, and follows the safest and most efficient pickup and delivery routes.
  • Participate as member of interdisciplinary team. Take part in participant care planning and contributes to notations in medical record.
  • Report important information to proper staff of Franciscan Alliance PACE daily regarding any changes, progress, or unusual events concerning any participant.
  • Conduct daily checks of  PACE vehicles prior to transporting participants.
  • Ensure that any related safety procedures are followed.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

  • Adhere to all State, Federal, and Company regulations and policies pertaining to marketing activities for the PACE program.
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times to internal and external customers.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Manage multiple priorities simultaneously and effectively.
  • Flexible schedule to meet the needs of participants.
  • Physically access any home, i.e. navigate stairs and narrow spaces, tolerate heat and lack of air conditioning
  • Ability to manage stress.
