Mobile Software Developer - C# / Xamarin

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code, ensuring best possible performance and quality of applications
  • Identify bugs and issues with the software, determine root causes, and develop and implement solutions
  • Create and maintain automated unit testing
  • Collaborate within and across business units to discuss and determine technical solutions

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 2 years of experience in IT solutions development using C# for Xamarin applications
  • Experience in C#, with solid knowledge of its ecosystems
  • Knowledge of relational database
  • Understanding of Agile software development principals

It’d be great if you also have:

  • Xamarin Certification of Mobile Professional/Developer
  • 1 year of experience in the transportation/logistics industry
  • Experience with code management tools (Git, JIRA, Team City, AppCenter)
  • Ability to create complex formulas in MS Excel and/or SQL queries
  • Ability to articulate problems, design ideas, and solutions concisely and unambiguously to other technical stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience
