Deloitte’s HR Shared Services has an exciting opportunity to join our high impact team! We are seeking a Junior HR Project/Change Manager who will support and partner with the HR Manager, Technology to lead and enable ongoing and new technology initiatives. This is a challenging and interesting role, where you will be responsible for leading projects and developing a change strategy.  This role will require someone with strong organizational skills as the HR Project/Change Manager will communicate project status updates, prioritize information and ensure teams are tracking to meet deadlines. You will be comfortable raising issues and driving changes to build an environment of continuous improvement for the HR Shared Services Team. 

Key Accountabilities:

Essential functions will include but are not limited to:

  • Active project management and project oversight
  • Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Ensures quality delivery of project within approved timelines
  • Support leadership through project life cycle; forecasting, dashboards and presentation decks
  • Guiding stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of potential and active projects
  • Handling timelines, dependencies and deliverables for multiple projects
  • Manage resource allocation across multiple projects
  • Update project plans, priorities, and project sequencing as needed
  • Expertise and ability to build reports for tracking and measurement of effectiveness
  • Ensure that effective communication and change management practices are applied to all projects
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and/or customer service through process and work flow
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with team to implement necessary changes

Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Amazing verbal and written skills, able to communicate to audiences of every level clearly
  • Strong Time management and prioritization skills
  • The ability to build credibility quickly and work effectively in matrix environment

External Posting Qualifications

Formal Education:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma required with a focus on Business Administration, Project Management, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred


  • Minimum 3 years of project management experience and incorporating change management methodologies to HR initiatives, within the Professional Financial Services sector, is preferred
  • Experience working in Human Resources and foundational knowledge of HR practices, data, systems and processes
  • Strong capabilities with core software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
  • Proven ability to develop and present executive level dashboards and metrics

Job Knowledge and Skills:

  • A minimum of 3 years HR or equivalent business experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task effectively
