Software Account Manager-Inside

As a Software Account Manager – Inside you will have the opportunity to serve our clients through depth of understanding software technology and its impact on their roadmap toward optimization, automation, and transformation.  You will act as the primary point-of-contact for Microsoft’s portfolio of software products, and are responsible for growing revenue and profitability within your book-of-business.

 

What you’ll do at Insight:

  • Acquire new clients in partnership with Account Executives by creating compelling customer interactions
  • Develop and manage customers’ investments in software technology
  • Support existing software clients by directly facilitating client inquiries for software guidance
  • Optimize client’s software portfolio as well as internal processes, procedures, and systems to create repeatable and scalable market presence
  • Build meaningful relationships with teammates and valued partners

 

What you’ll need to join the team:

  • 2+ years of IT sales or business development experience
  • Demonstrated achievement of +3M in Software or Hardware Sales
  • Ability to build strong, collaborative customer relationships with line-of-business and technical roles
  • Experience navigating customers through sales negotiations and/or comprehensive presentations via telephone
  • Understanding of solution selling techniques and selling cloud based solutions
  • Have passionate attitude toward sales and technology as an enabler for a company’s growth
  • Microsoft and/or other software solution sales experience highly desired
