Intern- OPMO Associate Project Manager

As an intern in the Manufacturing Portfolio Management Office (MPMO) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will collaborate with cross functional teams to execute projects and ensure Micron is working on the projects with the most value to the company. Your primary goal is to realize program and project objectives which require the advanced application of project and process management concepts. This includes planning, organizing, staffing, leading, executing, and controlling activities to deliver expected value. You may also be required to build reports in Tableau or MSRS. 

  

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: 

  • Help to manage and execute project deliverables.

  • Participate in solution development.

  • Gather needed data.

  • Analyze and interpret data.

  • Create and send project communications.

  • Assist in the creation of meaningful workplace metrics for the business to drive data driven solutions.

  

Minimum Qualifications

Education: 

Sophomore or Junior, pursuing Bachelor's Degree in: 

  • Electrical Engineering 
  • Industrial Engineering 
  • Supply Chain or Operations Management 
  • Project or Program Management 
  • Related field of study.

  

Preferred Skills: 

  • Strong communication, social, and presentation skills to organize work across multiple groups.

  • Work well in a multi-disciplined team environment.

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).

  • Able to find solutions to problems with unclear problem-statements and/or vague requirements.
