Overview

System Engineer role at Leidos Australia. This role supports a multi-year Defence program to deliver an enterprise Health Knowledge Capability to enable better clinical decision making for the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and provide market leading healthcare to ADF personnel.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform systems analysis and design.
  • Develop and maintain systems engineering documentation and artefacts.
  • Participate in the development of concept design, systems architecture, and multi-system interfaces.
  • Conduct technical risk analysis and management.
  • Ensure work is undertaken in accordance with the appropriate regulatory framework.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels within the program.

What You’ll Bring To Make An Impact

  • Solid understanding of systems engineering principles and lifecycle management.
  • Experience eliciting and managing requirements.
  • A track record of working on complex system projects.
  • Ability to work with architects, engineers and other project members and offer strategic advice within agile environments.
  • Experience working within an agile delivery model will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills both written and verbal.

Requirements: The role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian citizen and hold Baseline security clearance, with the potential to obtain NV-1 clearance if required.
