The role
- As a Consultant / Specialist Anaesthetist, you will deliver high-quality anaesthetic services across a broad case mix (elective and emergency)
- Support the Clinical Director with service planning, patient safety, and quality improvement
- Teach and supervise Registrars, Provisional Fellows, PHOs, JMOs and Interns
- Contribute to research, audit, and multidisciplinary service development
Scope of practice
- The Anaesthetics Department provides services for orthopaedics, trauma, general surgery, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics
- ENT, dental, ECT and endoscopy
- Pre-assessment clinic, acute pain service, obstetric epidural service
- Trauma and cardiac arrest team support

About you
- FANZCA or ANZCA SIMG assessment: Substantially Comparable
- Broad anaesthesia experience, including emergency and paediatrics
- Collaborative team player with strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to patient safety, continuous improvement, and teaching
