Overview

Speech Pathologist role at Early Start Australia, based in Penrith, NSW. We support over 28,000 families across our 46 clinics nationwide with over 600 employees. We are hiring for our Penrith clinic, working across a combination of clinic and mobile services. Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based assessments and therapy to a paediatric caseload, delivering direct, family-based and community-based support for developmental delays and disabilities
  • Conduct assessments and intervention sessions across a mixed-age caseload, collaborate in a multidisciplinary context to achieve quality, evidence-based outcomes
  • Work closely with key stakeholders, providing information, education and support
  • Ongoing evaluation, training and review to ensure delivery of high-quality services

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and SPA Registration
  • Passion for working with individuals with disabilities to help each client achieve goals and participate meaningfully in their community
  • Exceptional communication skills to work in culturally diverse environments and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
  • Effective time management and attention to detail
  • Commitment to making a difference with therapy that is fun, engaging and meaningful for clients and families
  • Experience working with children and adolescents and comfort working with families
  • Compliance: SPA Registration; Working with Children Check; National Police Check; NDIS worker screening; First Aid; Driver’s license and vehicle
