As a Piping Designer, you will support the success of ACOR, locally and nationally within our Energy discipline, focusing on fuel and chemical handling and storage facility design. The ideal candidate will have pipework and related infrastructure modelling capabilities and exposure to petrochemical or related industries.

Responsibilities

  • Produce 3D design projects from tender and concept to detailed design, in accordance with Australian standards and authority codes
  • Ensure accurate drawing and registration systems are produced according to supplied specifications and applicable standards, internal and external
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the core drafting team in-house as required, in the capacity of design draughtsperson
  • Actively participate in supporting and improving ACOR's petrochemical and dangerous goods offerings company-wide

Skills & Experience

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Plant3D
  • Strong 3D modelling capabilities in pipework and associated infrastructure
  • Computer skills in Word Processing, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to interpret and understand Australian standards
  • The ability to work unsupervised and complete drawings from a design brief
