Senior Recruitment Consultant - APAC | Expert in recruiting for Construction & Engineering

Company's Summary:

Are you a sharp and experienced Contract Administrator ready to take the reins on high-end construction projects? We’re working with a high-performing Sydney-based construction company delivering premium commercial and high-rise residential developments — and they’re looking for a capable Contract Administrator to support growing project demands.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you’ll manage contracts, procurement, and costs across diverse developments. Ideal for someone proactive, collaborative, and results driven.

Job Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and manage subcontracts, purchase orders, and consultant agreements.
Lead procurement activities including issuing RFQs, analyzing tenders, and conducting negotiations.
Monitor and update budgets, forecasts, cost reports, and cash flow statements
Handle contract administration including variations, progress claims, EOTs, and other related correspondence.
Work closely with site and project teams to ensure timely contract execution and compliance.
Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to support project coordination.
Maintain accurate project documentation and support final project handover and close-out.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Contract Administrator role within the construction sector
Strong understanding of construction methodology, contract administration, and cost management
High attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
Capable of managing competing priorities in a high-paced project environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with industry tools such as Procore or Cheops
