Join our Parts and Accessories team as a NPI Program Manager! The New Product Introduction Program Manager manages cross-functional development teams to implement assigned product plans and monitor projects from initiation through launch. This position will manage a portfolio of new product projects in various stages of development. The successful candidate will deliver all-new Genuine Harley-Davidson Parts & Accessories (P&A) to our passionate customers in accordance with our strategic growth initiatives.

This is what you’ll do…
  • Formulating project timelines and managing resources.
  • Resolving complex problems related to product development (PD) scheduling, expense, resource utilization and training.
  • Meeting quality, cost, margin, brand, quality, and timing targets.
  • Being a champion for the Product Development Methodology.
  • Collaborating in a matrix team environment to drive process consistency and adherence.
  • Developing compelling business cases for assigned projects and managing capital expenditure.
  • Identifying risks/issues and developing mitigation plans.
  • Communicating project status and championing projects through development stage gates to senior leaders.

Education Required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is preferred. An advanced degree is desired.

Experience Required
We are looking for someone with a minimum of eight (8) years of progressive product development experience dealing with large, complex projects and programs. In addition, we are looking for someone with the following:
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly dynamic, ambiguous, flexible team environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to hold team members accountable.
  • Familiarity leading others without direct authority.
  • In depth knowledge of product development processes.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills (root cause analysis).
  • Sound strategic planning.
  • Advanced project management skills.

  • Certification(s) in program/project management preferred.
